The Loft occupies the top floor of High Point Beach House and has its own private entrance. It is a generous holiday apartment for two, with an elevated position that makes the most of the views across the bay and surrounding Galloway countryside.
The downstairs of High Point is our private family home and is not let separately. Very occasionally, High Point is available as a whole-house stay.
The separate lounge is a lovely place to read, watch television or simply enjoy the changing light over Fleet Bay. The open-plan living and kitchen area is well equipped for relaxed breakfasts and unhurried suppers, while the super-king bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom.

Made for two
The Loft is now offered exclusively for two adults, giving couples more space to settle in and enjoy the coast. It is especially suited to guests seeking a calm base for walking, wildlife, golf and exploring Dumfries and Galloway.
Beach days on Fleet Bay
A single and a double sit-on-top kayak are available for guests to use by arrangement. Lifejackets are provided and must be worn, and use is subject to safe weather and tidal conditions. From April to October, guests also have access to a separate full bathroom beneath the High Point balcony—ideal for showering and rinsing off after a sandy day on the beach.
Smoking and vaping
The Loft is completely smoke- and vape-free. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside or in its outdoor areas, including the balcony and terrace.
